About the DELE exam
The Cervantes Institute (Instituto Cervantes), the Spanish equivalent of the British Council or the Goethe Institute, organizes Spanish language exams known as “Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera” (or DELE).
These are offered at six levels: A1 (Básico), A2 (Plataforma), B1 (Intermedio), B2 (Avanzado), C1 (Dominio operativo eficaz) and C2 (Maestría) which correspond with the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The exams include reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and oral expression components. All parts of the exam are taken on the same day.
Our DELE course consists of an intensive Spanish course (20 hours per week) plus 10 hours per week of private (1:1 or 2:1) DELE preparation.
The intensive course provides you with the opportunity to develop your overall level of competency and the DELE preparation course will provide you with the skills required to ensure a successful outcome in the exam.
After a week of intensive Spanish classes at The Learning and Teaching Studio (LTS) I finally managed to break through the language barrier. Only a week ago I was lost in verbs and even basic stuff and now I can communicate with confidance. Plus, there is desire to continue to improve. All conditions here are created to fully immerse in the language. The practice continues outside the studio walls. The Academic Coordinator, helps a lot with orientation to get around in the city. Me gustaron mucho las clases de español intensivo en el estudio LTS (The Learning and Teaching Studio). Logré un gran avance después de sólo una semana. La coordinadora académica ayuda mucho con la orientación en la ciudad. La ubicación de la residencia es muy cómoda para ir a pie a la clase. Y la comida en el estudio es deliciosa. Recomiendo estas clases a todos que quieren lograr los resultados garantizados en español en corto periodo de tiempo y con placer.
